All licenses are subscriptions and are purchased in 12 month periods. Each license includes:
Support for unlimited model sizes (number of nodes/entities)
Unlimited technical support by professional engineers for PCSWMM
Full online training materials (over 1000 pages) for both PCSWMM and EPA SWMM5
Software updates for the duration of the subscription
Single User License
A Professional or Professional 2D license allows the named user (the licensee) to use the software on a maximum of two computers (e.g. one desktop and one laptop).
Enterprise License
Cost effective, flexible and easy to manage through our cloud license manager. Additional users can be added at any time, and a limited number of no-cost license transfers are allowed between users. The per-user subscription fee for additional users will be invoiced at the next billing period.
Named-user subscription licensing reduces costs and increases productivity by:
Long-term evaluation of software without substantial initial investment
Continuous access to the latest features and capabilities
Straight forward sharing of projects with your clients and consultants, as all have access to the same version
Guaranteed access to the software 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Simple, transparent pricing model to aid decision-making
Comprehensive online SWMM/PCSWMM training (~60 hours / 800 pages)
System Requirements
All versions of PCSWMM require:
Microsoft Windows 64 bit operating system, versions 11, 10, 8, 7, Vista, or XP (SP2)
Microsoft.NET 4.8 framework installed
Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable (x86) installed
Minimum horizontal and vertical screen resolutions of 1366x768 pixels (WXGA)
Minimum 4 GB of physical memory
Minimum 2 GB of disk space
For workshops and online training:
Minimum screen resolution of 1600x900 pixels is required to provide adequate room for both the instructions and the PCSWMM software on the same screen
Alternatively, dual monitors where the primary screen is a minimum of 1366x768 pixels can be used
Recommendations
SWMM5 modeling and GIS analysis can be computationally demanding: PCSWMM can easily use 100% of available CPU cycles for extended periods of time and perform sustained high-speed read/write hard drive operations.
The following optimizations should result in significant improvements in productivity:
Fast CPU (selected for single-threaded and multi-threaded performance)
Multi-core CPU (4 or more physical cores recommended)
16+ GB of available memory (for 64 bit version)
Solid state hard drive (SSD)
2 button mouse with wheel
2 high definition monitors (1920x1200 pixels, 24" or larger)
To dramatically reduce run times for model calibration and scenario analysis, PCSWMM can be set up on a network of computers to work together as a single super computer. To enable this, you must have:
